The Fifth Huntsville Gamma-Ray Burst Symposium will be held 19-22 October, 1999 at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Huntsville, Alabama. We expect many exciting and controversial new results on cosmic gamma-ray bursts to be presented, continuing the tradition of previous Huntsville Symposia. Several social events are also planned, including a reception at the new Huntsville Museum of Art, and a dinner banquet. The scientific sessions will run from 19 October to 22 October.

Note: A special workshop on Magnetars (SGRs) will be held on Monday, 18 October.

Submitted Abstracts and a preliminary list of invited speakers and topics will be placed on-line for your perusal. The Absracts will be available after all Abstracts are submitted and approved by the Scientific Organizing Committee.
