Latest revision 3 November 1998 Bad LAD 5 Data on TJD 11119 TJD 11119 = 2 November 1998 During an interval on TJD 11119, the count rates in both DISCLA and CONTINUOUS data for Large-Area Detector 5 were too high. The reason is unknown but a similar situation, also involving LA Detector 5, occurred on TJD 11051. The bad high count rates occurred between approximately TJD/SoD = 11119/11917 and TJD/SoD = 11119/38696. Quality Flag 75 was set for SoD 11900 - 38700. In the DISCLA data, the high count rates in Det. 5 were very strong in channel 1, clearly visible in channel 2, and not visible in channels 3 or 4. In the CONTINUOUS data, the channel range was not investigated but the high rates definitely appear in one or more of channels 3 - 5.
