GEORGIA A. RICHARDSON
Welcome to my home page. It is always under construction, so
check back again some time.
Current Info
In December 2000 I recieved my PhD from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I currently
have an NRC post-doc possition and am working
with the X-Ray
Astronomy group at MSFC.
During graduate school, I worked on a variety of instruments including
the Burst and Transient Source
Experiment,
(BATSE), and the Fiber
Gamma-Ray Large Area Space Telescope, both of which were based at Marshall
Space Flight Center (MSFC). The spaces
science group at MSFC is now located at the National Space Science and
Technology Center (NSSTC).
My dissertation research included the development and application of the general
relativistic astrophysical flow and shock solver (GRAFSS). GRAFSS is capable of
solving three dimensional general relativistic hydrodynamic flows.
